Racławice Panorama

Panorama Racławicka is one of the most spectacular works of art in Poland and a unique attraction of Wrocław. The monumental painting is 114 meters long and 15 meters high, and thanks to a special arrangement of the space and perspective effects gives the viewer the impression of participating in the depicted events.

The painting depicts the victorious battle of Polish forces over the Russians at Racławice in April 1794, one of the key clashes of the Kościuszko Uprising. The dynamic scene, realistic details and panoramic form make the viewer almost "step into" the very center of the historical event.

During the visit an audio commentary is available in 16 languages, including, among others, Korean, Japanese, Croatian and Esperanto. A special audio description has been prepared for blind visitors, making the exhibition accessible to a wide range of audiences.
